Baynetna—or “between us”—is a culturally grounded virtual creative arts therapy group for Arab diaspora adults.

This is for the days when you are carrying too much, too little, or something difficult to explain. For homesickness, in-between-ness, unspoken grief, family expectations, identity shifts, stress, hope, and the feelings that often get lost beneath larger conversations.

Guided by Rana Abdallah, a Lebanese American Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, Baynetna is a small space to gather, reflect, make art, and feel understood without having to translate your whole family history before you can begin.

We will use gentle creative prompts, conversation, reflection, and community to make room for what is personal, cultural, complicated, and human.

You do not need art experience. You do not need the perfect words. You just need room to be yourself.

A brief confidential group form is required at checkout. This form collects the basic information needed to create your participant profile and add you to the secure portal. Lastly, the $400 investment covers the complete five-session group experience.

what happens 
during "baynetna"

We will meet live on a secure telehealth platform for five 60-minute sessions beginning in January 2027. The group will be limited to 8 participants so there is enough room for both personal reflection and community connection.

Before our first gathering, each of you will receive a curated art-materials package by mail. It is a small way of beginning together—creating a shared creative starting point across distance.

The $400 investment covers the complete five-session Baynetna group experience and curated art materials. Baynetna is a closed cohort, meaning the same small group meets together throughout the series to allow familiarity, trust, and connection to grow over time. You may pay in full at registration or choose the payment plan: $125 today to reserve your place, followed by $275 automatically charged on December 11, 2026.

After registration, you will receive additional intake documents through the portal within 2–3 business days. Your place is confirmed once the required documents are completed and reviewed. This process helps make sure Baynetna is an appropriate fit and helps us prepare the group with care.

Because supplies are purchased and prepared in advance, the initial $125 payment is nonrefundable. However, if Baynetna does not reach the minimum enrollment needed to run, you will receive a full refund or may transfer your payment to a future group.
