A Virtual Support Circle for the Arab Diaspora (12 weeks)

Baynetna meets every Thursday, starting July 9, 2026, from 6 PM to 7:15 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).

We know you may be feeling too much or too little. Life, more recently, has been presenting us with numerous challenges — global events, personal struggles, questions about ourselves and the future. Sometimes, finding a place where we can simply be seen and heard is incredibly beneficial.

Baynetna is more than just a support group. It's a welcoming space designed specifically for the Arab diaspora to come together, share, and heal as a community collective.

This group is for when you're tired of translating yourself and just need a space to be.

Led by a Lebanese licensed art therapist, Rana Abdallah, Baynetna carries an atmosphere of kindness and safety, where creativity and community converge, ensuring that your story holds significance. We'll explore themes such as loss, stressors, and hope, while also supporting your community as diaspora and neighbours.

Baynetna will donate 20% of its profits to credible mental health services NGOs in Lebanon during July and August, due to the necessity of medical and basic needs that have been destroyed by the war. Donations will continue throughout the group to various causes.

Here's what you can anticipate:

  • A warm and understanding circle of individuals who empathize with your journey and respect your experiences

  • An opportunity to create and share art as a means of processing emotions and fostering connections

  • A safe and confidential space where we honour our culture, emotions, and each other

  • Support and empowerment to help you navigate life's challenges with hope and resilience

  • Giving back to communities affected by global tragedy

No matter your location in the world, Baynetna is here for you. Ahlan W Sahlan feekon 💟🧿
