A Virtual Support Circle for the Arab Diaspora (12 weeks)

Baynetna meets every Thursday, starting July 9, 2026, from 6 PM to 7:15 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).

We know you may be feeling too much or too little. Life, more recently, has been presenting us with numerous challenges — global events, personal struggles, questions about ourselves and the future. Sometimes, finding a place where we can simply be seen and heard is incredibly beneficial.

Baynetna is more than just a support group. It's a welcoming space designed specifically for the Arab diaspora to come together, share, and heal as a community collective.

This group is for when you're tired of translating yourself and just need a space to be.

Led by a Lebanese licensed art therapist, Rana Abdallah, Baynetna carries an atmosphere of kindness and safety, where creativity and community converge, ensuring that your story holds significance. We'll explore themes such as loss, stressors, and hope, while also supporting your community as diaspora and neighbours.

Baynetna will donate 20% of its profits to credible mental health services NGOs in Lebanon during July and August, due to the necessity of medical and basic needs that have been destroyed by the war. Donations will continue throughout the group to various causes.

Here's what you can anticipate:

  • A warm and understanding circle of individuals who empathize with your journey and respect your experiences

  • An opportunity to create and share art as a means of processing emotions and fostering connections

  • A safe and confidential space where we honour our culture, emotions, and each other

  • Support and empowerment to help you navigate life's challenges with hope and resilience

  • Giving back to communities affected by global tragedy

No matter your location in the world, Baynetna is here for you. Ahlan W Sahlan feekon 💟🧿

A Virtual Therapeutic Peer Group for Creative Art Therapists (12 weeks)

Creative Care Circle meets every Monday, starting July 6, from 6 PM to 7:15 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Being a creative art therapist is both fulfilling and demanding. You make art for clients, for sessions, for programs, for supervision — but when was the last time you made art for yourself?

This trauma-informed therapeutic group is specifically designed for creative art therapists who have forgotten to create for themselves due to busy schedules, life expectations, and the constant demand to hold space for others.

This group is for when you're burnt out and just need a space to be.

This group provides emotionally focused work using various modalities and mediums (paint, collage, clay, drawing, mixed media, movement, writing) to help you express what's hard to put into words — secondary trauma, burnout, the tension between caring for others and caring for yourself, and the joy of creating again. We'll explore themes such as loss, stressors, long hours, and the unique pressure of being the one who facilitates healing for others.

After all, we need a space for ourselves too.

Guided by a licensed art therapist, Rana Abdallah, this group combines creative expression with open dialogue, helping you explore and release stress in a nurturing environment. Whether you need to vent, reflect, create, or simply take a break, this group honours your journey and provides tools to build resilience.

Here's what you can expect:

  • A compassionate community of creativeart therapist peers who understand the unique challenges you face

  • Time to make art for yourself using various modalities and mediums (no pressure, no judgment)

  • A confidential, non-judgmental space to share, support, and empower one another

  • Practical strategies and encouragement to nurture your well-being and sustain your passion for this work

Join us from anywhere in NY and take this time to care for yourself as much as you care for others.
